Nude
celebrity photos and videos are no new thing to the world at large. The photos
are sent to the media online due to different reasons either thinkable or unreasonable. Most recently the scene has been of great impacts to
the public but the big question still remains what may have led to all these
embarrassing situations online. It may come through different reasons that are
clearly brought out below.
Not
only celebrities worry about their intimate photos ending up online. Recently there
has been a rise in revenge and hit backs porn sites that send photos through
jilted exes. This leads us back to celebrities because they are not only known
but our role models too.
There may not be any clearly
brought out reasons for nude celebs but the excuses are directed to their way
of lives. It is believed that long distance dating may be the reason. Due to
many months spent away from spouses and lovers while making movies and doing
music, then sexing can become an excuse for a substitute intimacy. Some selfies
from bathrooms mirrors may be taken to measure progress on a diet or any other
reasons. Others have enjoyed
comfortably inadvertent nude photos or videos going viral. For example Kim kardashian
whose career highlight was to her capacity as Paris Hilton’s personal assistant
before her sex tapes was discovered. Another reason that might sound outrageous
is naivete. This comes about when celebs not knowing images on their iphones are
automatically backed up by icloud or rather
they tend to think is a safe place for their data. These reasons have
led to nude photos ending up online and to the general public.
Nude photos of celebs to the business
world would mean a different thing all together; they are very big businesses
with a single picture going reportedly at $50,000 per a day in ad revenue to
any willing and intended publisher prepared to risk uploading stolen images.
This has encouraged massive hacking as much as the repercussions are known if
evidently proved guilty. For instance Christopher Chaney recently received a ten year jail term after hacking phones
belonging to Scarlett Johansson and Christina Aguilera.
There
are various safeguards put in place in order to maintain people’s privacy from
hackers who leaking out the worst of the celebrities. These safeguards not only
provide security but also prevent us from knowing the worst of our celebrities.
They include;
1. Choose
strong and hard passwords to guess. This will provide different variations for
different accounts and therefore hackers will find it very hard to access.
2. Many
variations. For example Apples, offer the option of two factor
authentification. For hackers it will sound hopeless.
3. You
should also not give out your cell phones to anyone because they contain first
hand information and hence a break through to hackers.
Therefore
it is not a celebrity’s fault that these images have been stolen but a clear
and stern warning of being sure when to take your photo and whom to send it to.
If your phone is set up to automatically back up everything to the icloud the
photos will not be safe.
